~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again, that's the title of what I'm listening right now.
:bulletblue: A little advertising:
~~~
What is the MMB? *ManlyMenBrigade

The Manly Men Brigade was created for people just like you, who wish to give praise and glory to those men in the artistic world who yet possess testosterone.
You wish to-- from the standpoint of the great World Wide Web-- scream from the top of your lungs, I SUPPORT REAL MEN!
You wish to voice with impregnable pride your disdain of so-called men whose very physical forms and fictional personalities beg to differ.
You wish to glorify the rippling musculature, the hairy arms, the square jaws, the luscious facial stubbery, the thick eyebrows, the six-packs.

You wish to stand against bishi abominations!

Alright, alright. A bit dramatic, but isn't it obvious?

WE'RE HERE TO SUPPORT ONE OF THE MOST ENDANGERED SPECIES ON THE PLANET:

THE MANLY MAN.

:bulletred: I've just finished playing Planescape: Torment (PS:T) which left me with a "WTF?" on my lips, but that's been one of the best RPG I've ever played. It's true, Mask of the Betrayer has much of PS:T in it (I won't go on a detalied comparison, I want to keep this journal spoilerfree) but still manages to be unique on its own. If you liked MOtB go and get PS:T - *IF* you manage to find it.
One of the things liked in the alignment system of PS:T is that you can still help people BUT you can choose to ask a reward (becoming more evil) or do it for free (becoming more good). In the NWN games you become more good if you help people, even if you do it for a reward - and that's bad. DID YOU HEAR ME, VIDEOGAME DEVELOPERS?

:bulletblue: I've played Mysteries of Westgate for few hours, it's too early for writing a review, but there's something that has already catched my eyes: cool areas! There are so many details in them, they must have worked very hard on them. It's a pity that most players will walk through the game and barely noticing what's around them.

:bulletred: Could you suggest me some good rock / metal bands? I like Megadeth, Cradle of Filth, Disturbed, Rammstein, Soulfly, Lacuna Coil Motorhead, Tristania. Nightwish and Within Temptation are ok but they're not my stuff.

Dream Evil (specially Dragonslayer), Lordi, In Flames, Crematory, Lunatica...

How you're doing it in MoW? I don't think I'll get it, just for the two reasons: 1) I want a CD in my hand if I pay for it and 2) It's a pity it's not translated, and I know it as an offense...
:iconsilinde-ar-feiniel:
PS:T is indeed amazing. Sigil is just so awesome! The city of doors! A crossroad of worlds and planes where you can find many mysteries and weird thingys. lol Anyway I agree that it's one of the best RPGs ever made. It has real depth in scenario and it's something very different from common RPGs.

Anyway here are some must-to-hear bands: (I would strongly suggest In Flames too) Iced Earth, Senteced, Paradise Lost, Dark Tranquillity, Nevermore, Kalmah, Slipknot, Blind Guardian, Demon & Wizards, After Forever, Lamp of God

Besides Blind Guardian and Slipknot, I've never heard of those, I'll check them out :D

Thanks for the advice ;-)

About MoW, it's too early to have an opinion, I'm still at the beginning, but it seems one of the games which start "slow" and get interesting in the middle (or at least I hope it does).

BTW You can burn it on a CD, if you want. Better, they *suggest* you do to that.
I was shocked to discover it was not translated, but I'd rather have it in English than having a bad translation.

Well, videogames translation is a hell that no one of us don't want to go... I don't know how is the italian translation, but spanish one is... weird sometimes. I just remember NWN1, with Daelan, when he shouts (in english): BY UTHGARD'S BLOOD!', and then the spanish translation that floats over his head is 'FUCK YOU' ._.

And in NWN2, Khelgar shouts something like 'BY TYR'S RIGHT BUTTOCK' >_< I've always thought that Casavir then should go mad with him. And in SoZ, one of the features Volo gives you, Journalist, in spanish got translated as... ... LABORER.
:iconratzgoblin:
Ah, the title was a little eye-catcher for me, for I know it very well :>
And I wonder as always how they can be that popular in foreign counries... Regarding their success in Russia for example, speaking-german can't be decisive :)
Must be the energetic music itself :>

I looked at this :iconmanlymenbrigade:
And :lol: wtf... every watcher of this club I checked was female. I guess in eyes of straight men this club is totally >>>GAY<<<!!! xD))))) :laughing: (but know, that this is only my personal opinion ;])

Music advices are imho hard do give... To me it happened already, that some suggested songs sounded like crap to me at first. Several months later, I hear the same song on the radio liking it immediatly, look it up in the radio stations playlist just to find out I have heard it once before, but now with a totally different attitude towards it. :D

But I can say, I like your taste of music ;)

You're relaxed. You're sublime. You're amazing.
:iconcrazy80sguy:
Heh, manly men. I wonder if I would fit into that category.

Anyway, Planescape Torment was one of the finest rpg's I ever had the honour of gracing with my feeble mind, only thing that spoiled it for me was the lack of endings. True the events leading up to the end movie could change drastically, but still they had the same conclusion (more or less).

I want to play Mysteries of Westgate, I'm buying it I think in a few days off the website after the banks open and I can put some money in thare... Sure hope its worth the monies!

Hm. Lostprophets is sorta emo-rock. They're good, though. Why not try them?

Oh, and DragonForce are also good for a laugh :)
