PRIZES: depends on how many partecipants there will be -> more people = more prizes. Prizes will be pics drawn by me. Don't ask sex/porn/yaoi-yuri or anything that breaks DeviantArt rules. Winners will be chosen by me, remember that not just artistic skill, but also creativity is important.
5 partecipants or less:
1st place gets a FULL COLOURED PIC of ONE OR TWO of his/her characters (example [link] [link])
more than 5 partecipants:

2nd place: 'SIMPLY' COLOURED PIC of ONE of his/her characters (example [link])
10 partecipants or more:

2nd place: 'SIMPLY' COLOURED PIC of ONE of his/her characters (example [link])
3rd place: BLACK AND WHITE, INKED PIC of ONE of his/her characters (example [link])
4th place: DETAILED SKETCH of ONE of his/her characters (example [link])
RULES:- you may submit only one pic
- no sex/porn/yaoi-yuri or anything that breaks DeviantArt rules. Blood and gore are ok. If your'e not sure if something is ok, ask me
- when 'submitting' your pic, send me a note with a link to your pic
- pics can be simple sketches, just ink, traditionally or digitally coloured
- if you're interested in taking part to the contest, please let me know

Enrvironment type (optional): post-apocalyptic cities (examples: movies like Reign of Fire, 28 Days Later, Mad Max, videogames like Fallout and Hellgate: London), some places are safe and full of people, others are in ruins, full of bandits, monsters, mutants and some demons; wild natural environments like forests, woods, plains, swamps; the mage characters may be portraied in mage labs, of course.

You have some feedom in deciding what to draw (but you should use the character descriptions as reference). You may decide to draw some action scene (the 'environments section gives some hint), or maybe characters just interacting with each other (I wrote a little about the relationships, such as 'X hates Y but likes Z'
or simply the character posing (a bit like my character reference pics) or portray the character in his/her normal life (the character description helps). DEADLINE:The deadline is the end of the year (31st of December). It may be extended in order to let people have more time. That's why I'd like you to let me know if you're interested in taking part to the contest.

What exactly is the contest about? How many of the characters should be drawn in a submission? Does it matter? What can / should they be doing? ..
Are backgrounds necessary or optional?
I gave you some description of the characters, who they are and what they do in their life, then you can decide to draw them as you like. You may decide to draw some action scene (the 'environments section gives some hint), or maybe just interacting with each other (I wrote a little about the relationships, such as 'X hates Y but likes Z'
Backgrounds are optional.
You may decide to do something artistic or creative (or both), then I shall choose the 'best'.

I'm think I wanna take part from it too, I love your characters, and their design simple cool, and gives me ideas a lot. Now I have no idea yet what and how to draw, but sure I will have a bit later, so I think I join ^^

Why you to note yaoi?
Did that mean yuri are allowed?
No pictures about sexy guys but pictures about sexy girls are all right?

uhm, I'd rather not to have sex themes at all in the pics; sexy guys are ok as long as there isn't nudity. For example, male character X posing in order to show his muscles is ok, male character X in the same pose but naked is not.
It's the first time I hold a contest, even if I read the rules of other people's contests and used them as an 'reference', it seems that I forgot many things and sometimes I did not explain myself ;-P thank you for helping me improving the rules system ^_^
